Die Mart “EP” on cassette via Tiny Sounds Collective + Doom Records 3 years later and EP is finally being released on tape. So stoked to help put out the debut EP of Austin post-hardcore Die Mart. They are real rockers and real good friends. Also, super hyped to have been able to work with Doom Records for this. DIY FOREVER. It’s on a limited run of 30 cassettes with hand labeled black tapes. Free Des Fest is coming up next weekend, the 27th an 28th of february. This is a DIY, all-ages music festival - 100% of donations made at Free Des fest are going to support Des and his co-defendants during their trial in DFW. We are starting and ending really early to avoid the noise ordinance - get there at 6:30 to see all of these incredible bands. There is going to be food, friends, community, letter writing, and resources on getting involved in the fight for immigrant justice. Thank you @ur.screaming.automatic.girl and @erikruin for the artwork in these, and the incredible infographic made by our friend. Nobody is free until we are all free, I’ll see you this weekend

IT’S LAST CALL MF’RS!!! The Pinky Rings take our final bow March 7th on the Hotel Vegas stage. Des Revol—a tattoo artist, PoC activist, immigrant, and all-around sweetheart - is currently facing serious charges and is in federal prison. Des was charged with evidence tampering and obstruction of justice, in relation to the Prarieland case, and the states crackdown on anti-ICE immigration. The evidence that the FBI used to lock Des in prison was a box of zines that he was supposedly moving in his truck. The federal government is trying to use Des, and activists like him, to scare people out of standing up to ICE, and fighting for their immigrant neighbors. Free Des Fest is a diy festival to gather donations, express solidarity, and stand up for Des and his co-defendants.
