What a week for our @rosierockabillyfilly ! 3 standing ovations in Memphis- which means people actually showed up early or at least on time. Kind of unheard of for our typically tardy city so I was thrilled to see a full theatre when she started her set. Sold out show at the Ryman. Pix with literally the coolest music icons - so this one isn’t as impressive or impressive at all based on the literal legends who had the privilege of meeting her in Nashville. But I’m proud to be a part of the Rosie Family and even prouder that the world is falling in love with her and her magic. ROSIE F*CKING FLORES forever! We love you Rosalie! 🌹

What a transformational evening at The Ryman Theater - The Mother Church - or as it is fondly known “The Church of Buddy Miller” (IYKYK) Roșie Flores stole the hearts of the sold out crowd in Nashville last night and she was absolutely radiant.  Back to the scene of her first ever record deal in the 1980s where she signed on with Warner for her single “Crying Over You” -  It was the single on her Rockabilly Filly album that put her on the Billboard country music charts;  the first Latina to make those charts. It was a full-circle moment in the sacred circle of the former Opry stage for Rosie as she received a standing ovation for her performance opening for the great Robert Plant and Saving Grace. if I could pick the happiest place on earth, it would be the outlaw cruise ships! OCC #7 was like a love boat, people who love music and musicians, who love performing for cool people! Five days and nights to be remembered till next year, when it happens again. Fortunate and grateful to be a part of all this. Here’s the start of my posts about it.
