happy 60th(!!!?!!?) birthday to this hilarious, talented, & handsome devil. i have so much to thank him for and i will do so by not including the countless ridiculous pictures i have on my phone of van/studio madness, truck stop treasures, and hashenwalkens in various european locales. instead, here’s some pictures of him doing what he does best- playing the ever-living shit out of the guitar last week in ATX with me. as unbiased as is possible for a son to be, he is one of the best ever to do it and i WILL fight you about it - just give me 24hrs to get my powerpoint presentation together. i’m a lucky kid to get to make music with my dad. here’s to many more years of the ford family band. love you, dad. ❤️ (that’s @themarcford to yall) photos 1-5 @seanson28 photo 6 @concertpants

ATX- my dad (@themarcford) has a little time off between @lucinda_williams dates & is coming to town to play @cboysheartnsoul on 4/9! it’s few & far between I get to play & sing with pops these days, and it’s been a solid decade+ since we’ve been able to do it in TX. supreme badasses @jjjohnsondrums & @djdickray will join MF & I before playing our set later that night. don’t miss it.
